Last Hope
On
that tragic day of nine-eleven,
Three thousand lives lost on earth,
gained in heaven
Many
of us were going on with our days,
Living our lives in our own selfish ways
The
terrorists had a plan,
To kill as many Americans as they can
With
Flight 11, 175, and 177,
They struck the World Trade Center
and the Pentagon, shaking the heavens
There
was terror in the streets and in our homes,
Buildings falling, blood, remains, and broken bones
Just
as we thought the terrorists
had successfully completed their plans,
There was one last hope, one final stand
Flight
93 was on it's course,
When the terrorists tried to take over
with barbaric force,
Forty
passengers and crew on that flight,
The strangers bonded together and decided to fight
Knowing
that death would be their final fate,
They gathered, they fought for the
freedom of the United States
Stopping
the terrorists from reaching their
intended destination,
They won the first fight,
it didn't break the heart of our nation
The
battle ended in the fields of Shankesville, Pennsylvania,
The word Allah, nor fear of death could tame them
True
heroes are the passengers and crew of Flight 93,
A symbol of America, The Land of the Free!
Dedicated in loving memory of my dear sister Nicole Carol Miller, hero of UAL #93 and all others that lost their lives on 9-11.
